As the baby grows, the food supplements are very important. The mothers cooking should be liked by the baby. Various recipes tried by the mothers may actually make the child stronger because of a variety of foods. One of the many recipes that should be used by the mother to keep the child strong is the baked potatoes. This is because potatoes have a lot of starch in them and this gives calories and energy to the baby.

Potatoes are also soft to eat if they are baked and so this recipe will be the best for your small baby and the babies introduced to this food will find it easier to start eating solids. Weaning from liquids is difficult and eating solids is a great pain for babies. All this can be avoided by using baked potatoes.

Baked Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 potato
  • 1 tea spoon of Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tea spoons of Butter
  • A pinch of Black pepper
  • ¼ cup of Cheese

The potato is scraped and the skin taken off. To the potato, the olive oil is rubbed on all sides. Then the salt is also added to this. Once this is done, the potato is baked in an oven. The oven should be preheated for about 10 minutes at 300 degree Fahrenheit. The potato should be baked for about 20 minutes and the potato should be golden brown in color.

The potato that has been baked is taken out and made into smaller pieces. To this, the garnish including the butter, cheese and the pepper is added. This makes the dish very tasty and ready to eat for your baby.
